Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet your Go Safaris Africa guide and take a brief Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Later, embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, home to the majestic mountain gorillas.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up early for a gorilla trekking adventure. After a briefing at the park headquarters, hike through the misty rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Spend one magical hour observing these magnificent primates before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village for an immersive Rwandan cultural experience.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest via Lake Kivu

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest

Day 6: Kigali City Tour & Departure
