Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Akagera National Park – Game Drive & Boat Safari

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Kigali to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roaming freely. In the afternoon, take an optional boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.

Day 2: Mount Bisoke Hike & Return to Kigali

Start your day early with a challenging but rewarding Mount Bisoke hike, one of the Virunga volcanoes standing at 3,711m (12,175 ft). The 6-hour round-trip trek takes you through lush rainforests, offering spectacular views and a scenic crater lake at the summit. After the descent, have lunch before heading to your lodge to relax and prepare for the next day’s hike.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Depart Hotel early  and transfer to Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered golden monkeys. Spend an hour with them before After the descent, have lunch and begin your scenic drive back to Kigali, marking the end of your incredible 3-day Rwanda adventure.
